About Me

I am Evelyn-Jade Clarkin, a clarinetist and music student at Carleton University. After completing high school in 2026, I am continuing to develop my musicianship and explore a future in music.

Music & Community

My experience includes school and community band performances, parades, and Remembrance Day ceremonies. Playing in an ensemble has taught me to prepare consistently, follow a conductor, and listen closely to the people around me.

Beyond Performance

I have also worked with children as a horseback riding camp counselor and tutor, and collaborated on a school art-room mural. These experiences have helped me develop patience, clear communication, and confidence in supporting others.

Looking Ahead

I am interested in professional ensemble performance, including orchestral clarinet. My focus is on building the musical skills and experience to explore that path.
